My name is Corey Quain, and I'm the founder of LeadTru.
Over the past 27 years, I've had the opportunity to lead engineering organizations, build quality assurance programs from the ground up, deliver enterprise software supporting millions of deployed devices, and help companies solve difficult technical and organizational challenges. My experience spans mobile applications, cloud platforms, IoT, home automation, automation frameworks, release management, and large-scale software delivery. I've also had the opportunity to contribute to innovative technologies that resulted in patents and intellectual property used in commercial products.
While my experience includes executive leadership, I've never believed leadership should separate you from the work. I enjoy understanding how systems function, identifying what isn't working, and helping teams find practical solutions. I'm just as comfortable discussing technology strategy, organizational challenges, and product quality with executives as I am working alongside engineering and QA teams to understand problems and improve how software is built, tested, and delivered.
Quality Assurance has been an important part of my career, particularly in environments where software is deployed across millions of devices and even small problems can quickly become large ones. Those experiences taught me the importance of thinking beyond individual test cases and looking at the entire development process—from requirements and architecture through testing, automation, release, and the customer experience.
I believe successful organizations are built on honesty, trust, accountability, and clear communication. Problems should be discussed early, expectations should be realistic, and commitments should be met. My philosophy has always been fairly simple: understand the problem, be honest about what you find, continue learning, and leave every system, team, and process stronger than you found it.
LeadTru was built around those same principles. My goal isn't simply to complete projects or recommend a particular methodology. It's to understand what an organization is trying to accomplish, identify where technology or process may be getting in the way, and help develop practical solutions that make sense for the business and the people responsible for delivering them.
After nearly three decades in technology, I still enjoy solving difficult problems and learning how new technologies can improve the way companies build products. The tools and platforms continue to change, but many of the fundamentals don't: good engineering, thoughtful leadership, strong communication, and people who care about the quality of what they build.
That's the approach I bring to LeadTru and to the organizations I have the opportunity to work with.
