My name is Corey Quain, and I'm the founder of LeadTru.
Over the past 27 years I've had the opportunity to lead engineering organizations, build quality assurance programs from the ground up, deliver enterprise software used by millions of customers, and help companies solve some of their most difficult technical and organizational challenges. Along the way I've worked across mobile applications, cloud platforms, IoT, home automation, automation frameworks, release management, and large-scale software delivery.
While my experience includes executive leadership, I've never believed leadership should separate you from the work. I enjoy understanding how systems function, identifying what isn't working, and helping teams build practical, reliable solutions. Whether that means discussing strategy with executives, mentoring engineering teams, reviewing architecture, writing test cases, improving documentation, or troubleshooting technical problems, I'm comfortable contributing wherever I can create value.
I believe successful organizations are built on honesty, trust, and clear communication. Problems should be discussed early, expectations should be realistic, and commitments should be met. My philosophy has always been simple: under-promise, over-deliver, continue learning, and leave every system, team, and process stronger than you found it.
LeadTru was built around those same principles. My goal isn't simply to complete projects—it's to help organizations build better software, stronger engineering practices, and teams capable of sustaining success long after the engagement is complete.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places and experiencing different cultures through travel. Some of my favorite memories have come from wandering cities with no agenda, discovering local restaurants, sharing a glass of wine, and simply slowing down long enough to appreciate the people and places around me.
When I'm home, life revolves around family, my black Lab Luna, and escaping to our place on the river whenever we can. There's something refreshing about the quiet mornings, the sound of flowing water, and time spent outdoors that helps keep life in perspective. Whether I'm building something, solving a problem, traveling the world, or relaxing by the river with the people I care about most, I believe the best things in life are built on curiosity, meaningful relationships, and never losing the desire to keep learning.
